![]() ![]() I enjoyed the exploration and gameplay, good variety of weapons to mess with. I dont remember why I got it, but I got it a little after release. ![]() ![]() 4 for me was definitely an overall positive experience. I haven't played any other previous fallout games, only 4 and 76. That scenario is an example of a lot of encounters in FO4 that don't allow any real role play because the encounters are designed to just be gunfights. This basically made the combat zone a dead end quest and only an introduction to kait. When you enter the building proper, all the raiders aggro after a strangely delayed amount of time (I was already surrounded by them when they started getting out of their chairs and attacking me, it was really bad encounter design). You can kill them I guess, but that's about the only thing you can do in FO4, speech check or kill. If you interact with them they tell you to go away. When you enter and see the raiders locked up behind the terminal, how are you allowed to interact with them? You can't bribe them or speech check them for information (or to work with you to kill the other raiders), you can't choose to free them, and you can't threaten them for money or anything interesting. ![]() I'm curious what your take on some of the encounters is then, such as the combat zone. ![]()
